Thermoguard Safewood Insulating Basecoat is an anti-viral fire protection paint for wood that achieve Class 0 and Class B s1 d0 for spread of flame and once overcoated with Thermoguard Safewood Anti-Viral SFR kills Viruses & Bacteria including Corona that land on the surface.

Durable wear, weather & wash resistant fire protection paint for decorative interior timber when exposed to fire. Thermoguard Safewood Insulating Basecoat expands to create a barrier, insulating wood from heat and oxygen to prevent fire penetration & flamespread.

Wood coated & protected by Thermoguard Safewood rapidly accelerate the death of Corona & Flu viruses, help prevent bacteria colonisation & eradication of harmful bacteria.

Test in approved UKAS test lab.

Controls surface spread of flame and fire propagation to Class 0 & EN Class B. Total smoke control, flaming droplets & particulates to EN Class B s1 d0.

Test & Results from approved Microbiology virus test lab to ISO 21702:

• 91.5% Corona virus reduction in just 2 hrs. 87.5% Corona virus reduction relative to biocide treated paints which are themselves 99.9% effective to bacteria.
