Renotub is a durable two-part modified acrylic isocyanate free coating specially formulated & designed to provide excellent adhesion, durability & colour retention in high moisture areas.
It is ideal for use to renew cast iron, steel, enamel, ceramic porcelain, fiberglass, bath tubs, toilets, bidets & sinks. It is not for use on galvanized steel or flexible plastic.
Do not use on areas exposed to extreme heat such as stovetops, or constant high humidity environments. Do not use in continuous water immersion such as swimming pools, hot tubs, ponds, or saunas.

Each pack contains a 250ml of Part A coating in Brilliant White Ral 9016 & 250ml Part B of an Activator / Hardener.
Usage
Before applying carefully read the instructions on the container and use according to the manufacturers recommendations.
Preparation
To secure lasting adhesion to the subsequent product all surfaces shall be clean, dry and free from any contamination.
Clean the surface in preparation for sanding.
Thoroughly abrade the surface with a suitable P600 abrasive sandpaper. Remove loose paint & rust with a wire brush.
To ensure a clean tidy finish round the edges & the fittings, we recommend applying masking tape to areas that do not require resurfacing and renovating.
Application
Apply at temperatures between 10-25°C in a well ventilated room.
Before painting mix components A and B and stir thoroughly. Once mixed apply within 2 hours.
Use a fine quality, fine bristle brush. Brush in one direction only for a smooth surface and feather the edges as you paint to avoid a hard line between painted areas. Avoid excessive brushing to ensure an even coat & smooth finish. Brush around the edges & the fittings & when complete we recommend applying the surface with a good quality 4 foam roller.
Allow to dry 7 days before exposing to water.

This paint will save you Hundreds of pounds to get it professionally resurfaced.
I recommend using a 4 inch quality brush.
I painted the whole bath with a brush then switched to a High Density foam roller for the final coat.
The roller MUST be a High Density roller not a cheap soft sponge roller.
The results is in the photos.
Must leave for the time stated 7 days to fully cure.
Also DO NOT buy a cheap dust mask as they don't keep out paint fumes.
After 4 hrs with ventilation I find the really strong smell goes.
I reccomend leaving Bath room door open not closed and open all doors and windows in the house or flat as well as a fan if you have one.
Overall a very good product and happy with results.

We had an old Belfast sink in our garden room, mainly used for washing our small dogs paws in. I bought it some years ago and it was battered then, then it stood in three different gardens as we were moving house. It was scratched and chipped and looked a bit of a mess, spoiling our room a bit. I search for a suitable product and decided to try this. It was easy to use, dried quickly and gave a good finish. I used a brush which was ok, if I’d needed a smoother finish I could have used a roller. But I’m very pleased, it’s a huge improvement for less than £40.
